Yesterday at the beach
Yesterday, we went to the beach [near my grandparents' apartment]! First we played in the park then we made a sand castle near the water, and it was as big as me so we made a tunnel that we could fit through [then a wave swept through the sandcastle, and then we got really soggy! But since the sandcastle collapsed, and all that was left was a little block of sand. Then we made a sandcastle that had a river in itm and the waves were fine in that river, and we made it look like the real sea...We dug a really big hole that all the water got caught up in.... Later on, we let the praying mantis free...]

Hi Sean. Sounds like a great castle you made - hope you took a photo. Have you tried making dribble castles? You get a hand full of very wet sand and hold it about 20cm above the sand and let it dribble out of your fingers. You can make tall spires of gothic-looking stalagmites!
